Adults and the elderly can also receive online speech-language therapy. One advantage is that you can receive speech-language therapy in the comfort of your own home. You don't need to take a trip to a speech-language therapy practise. The only thing you need is a computer/laptop/tablet and an internet connection.

Furthermore, if you have multiple weekly appointments with several therapists, we can take a demanding component out of your schedule.

Speech-language therapy can help people after stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease, people with Aphasia, Dysphagia, Dysarthria. The following problems may occur:

- Speech: unintelligible, speaking unclear, you started talking unclear after, for example, a cerebral infarction or a brain disorder, you have difficulties with certain letters, you suffer from speaking too quickly, stuttering/cluttering or other fluency problems

- Language: you have difficulty making clear to others what you mean, you have trouble finding words, you have reading and writing problems, you no longer understand others after, for example, a cerebral infarction, sentence formation difficulties, problems in storytelling, executive functions and reading comprehension

Eating and drinking: you often choke, you have difficulty swallowing after a cerebral infarction or brain disorder

Breath and voice: you suffer from hoarseness, you have a tired or sore throat after a period of talking, you can no longer sing, you do not breathe properly, being out of breath and voice problems (for example hoarseness, speaking softly or very loudly)

If there are doubts about the above areas, you can sign up for online speech-language therapy.

Intake and research will take place before the treatments start.

Happy Elderly Couple.
